Google Alphabet Inc. said that on Friday he had fired a senior software engineer who claimed the Lamda Intelligence Chatbot made by the Company (AI) was a person who was self -aware.
Google, which placed the Blake Lemoine Leave Software Engineer last month, said he had violated company policies and found his claims about Lamda “fully baseless.”
“It is regrettable that regardless of long involvement about this topic, Blake still chooses to continue to violate clear work policies and data security that includes the need to protect product information,” Google spokesman in an email told Reuters.
Last year, Google said https://bit.ly/3OS9QQD that Lamda – Language Model for dialogue applications – was built on company research that shows a transformer -based language model trained in dialogue can learn to talk about anything.
Google and many prominent scientists quickly ignore Lemoine’s views as one direction, said Lamda is just a complex algorithm designed to produce convincing human language.
