The orange lane train with passengers on the bridge that stretches over the Mystic River in Somerville was evacuated after it was burned. According to media reports, as many as 200 people must be evacuated out of the train while a number of passengers escaped through the window and a woman even jumped into the Mystic River below.
The video shows the fire shooting from the train car and thick smoke rises into the air. Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Tweeted said that the orange train caught fire this morning and smoke came from his head car when crossing the bridge between Wellington and the assembly station. Tweet further adds that they will be transparent with their findings and will provide an update immediately after being available.

Reports people jump out of the train window to save themselves also appear. In accordance with the New York Times, no one was injured in an accident and the woman who jumped into the river refused medical attention.
Previously, in another incident, the passenger door in the Boston Subway car did not function properly after a man was trapped inside and dragged to death.
NTSB investigators examined and tested the trains involved after the incident occurred, and identified errors in the local door control system that caused the train to move with the door blocked.
