Moving from Android to iOS and vice versa used to be Herculean’s task which often means sacrificing your data and starting to be fresh. Many things have changed for most, with Google, Apple, and other OEM development tools to transfer user data between devices. However, there is a gray area, data that you cannot move beyond division. One of them is transferring WhatsApp data from Android to iOS, but no longer.
After waiting for a long time, Meta announced the ability to transfer your WhatsApp account information, profile photos, individual chat, group chat, chat history, media, and settings using Apple’s transfer to the iOS application for Android phones. You cannot transfer your call history or display name. This is everything you need to know about the process.
What you need to transfer your Whatsapp message from Android to iOS
Before starting the process, you have to make sure a few things:
- Android phones must be on OS version 5 (Lollipop) or on it.
- Apple phones must run iOS version 15.5 or more.
- You have WhatsApp version 2.22.7.74 or more on your Android.
- You have WhatsApp version 2.22.7.74 or more above your iPhone (this is only needed at the end of the settings process).
- You use the same telephone number on both devices.
- Your iPhone must be new or regulated to factory settings. If not, it will not be paired with the application to move to iOS Android.
- Both devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network, or Android devices must be connected to the iPhone hotspot.
- Moving to the iOS application must be installed on your Android phone.
How to move your whatsapp data from android to iPhone
Your iPhone must be in a state of settings so that this method functions. In other words, you can only use a new iOS device or a factory reset if it has been used.
Download the application to move to iOS from the Google Play Store and install it on your Android phone.
Start the setting process for a new reset (or your factory) iphone. Open the Apps & Data Setup screen and select Move Data from Android.
Open the application to move to iOS on your Android phone and follow the instructions on the screen. The code appears on your iphone.
Select WhatsApp then tap starting. This encrypts your WhatsApp data and starts the data migration process. You also exit your WhatsApp account on Android automatically.
After your iphone is fully arranged, download the latest WhatsApp version of the App Store and enter with the same telephone number. Data will not be decrypted if you do not use WhatsApp iOS version 2.22.10.70 or higher.

Follow the steps above to easily transfer your WhatsApp data from your Android phone to your new iphone. The only downside of this tool is that the iPhone must be in setting mode (new reset or factory). If you want to transfer data to the iPhone that you have used, you should see other applications.
